July  2020

Several new publications have been accepted:

Becker et al. 2020 present an overview of ExPLAIN’s research endavour in a special issue of Datenbank Spektrum on Argumentative Inteligence.

Juri Opitz, Letitia Parcalabescu and Anette Frank propose “AMR Similarity Metrics from Principles” in a recent TACL Publication and design a novel AMR similarity metric, S²Match, that accounts for graded similarity of symbolic meaning representation graphs.

Paul et al. 2020 propose a novel approach that combines attention-based knowledge selection and on-the-fly knowledge extension in “Argumentative Relation Classification with Background Knowledge“, to appear in COMMA 2020.

October 2019

Our Paper “Exploiting Background Knowledge for Argumentative Relation Classification” wins the Best Student Paper Award at LDK 2019 in Leizpig. Congratulations to all authors!!
